2018 Autism Awareness Blog Hop

Today is World Autism Awareness Day and I am so proud to be part of an amazing group of designers that are sharing creations to bring recognition to people living with autism. Our hope is increase understanding and acceptance, and direct you towards more information so you can educate yourselves about autism.

My amazing friend Veronica Zalis has organized an amazing blog hop for you today, filled with designers and sponsors and of course...prizes! You can find all the information you need on her blog on how to participate. We don't want you to miss out on all the fun!

Taylored Expressions has created a fantastic stamp set perfect for today and you can buy it HERE. Thank you so much to them for sending it to us in advance for this special blog hop.

They have committed to donating 25% of proceeds from April's sales of the Look with your Heart set to the Autism Society. How amazing is that?!

I used one of the sentiments with the Bookcase background from Hero Arts. I stamped the wood block background directly on the card base and coloured the books in using Copic markers. The sentiment was heat embossed on dark grey cardstock in white, and adhered using foam tape. A few clear sequins finish if off. It's a simple design, but is colourful and meaningful.

You can find another card I made using this set on my Instagram account today. The link to that can be found under my picture in the right column.

Here's a list of all the amazing designers participating today:
